Don't let fear hold you back

We had an idea, we made soaps for ourselves, we like them, other people that have used them like them, so why not sell them. Of course before we could do that we had to invest in supplies, more supplies than we would use for just us. When it comes to investing money to start a business you have to deal with the fear that it might not make it. You have to ask if you have faith in your product. We have faith in our product and took our savings and invested in supplies.

Now the question was how to get customers. The answer was to give out samples, which we did. We took samples to work with us and gave them out to people that wanted to try the lotion. That first day we were in business we had 4 orders. Now we have repeat customers. I guess that says alot, people like our products well enough to buy from us again, and they are telling their friends and family about us. Word of mouth is the best advertising that you can get. A person telling their friend about a product that they have tried and really like. We had one of our customers buy two sets of lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soap to give as gifts. I can't tell you how good that made me feel, our products were good enough for gifts.

I'm glad that we didn't let fear hold us back. I'm glad that we had faith in the opportunity that the Universe presented us with.

If there is something that you really want to do, take the chance.

When good things happen

Hi all, sorry I've been gone for so long.
Last month I learned that my mom has cancer. I needed to get home to see her. I live in Maine, she lives in Wyoming. It wasn't looking good for getting me to Wyoming. However, thanks to associate in critical need at Walmart and the wonderful people in our store I am now in Wyoming. I had refused to accept that I wouldn't get home. I knew that I would just not how. I took the bus, on my way here my bus in Chicago was an hour late. Being an hour late it was going to make me miss my connection in Minneapolis. I just concentrated on getting to Minneapolis in time to make my connection. I knew that I would get there in time and I did. So my message to you today is to think positive, be positive, live positive and positive things will come to you.

Until next time,
Rev. Tammy

Giving

These past few weeks I have been attempting to teach you to love yourself and to change your thinking into a positive nature.

We are all one with the Divine, the Divine is within us as well as without. We are part of the Divine, that being so, we are all connected. When you give to help another, you are also helping yourself. You are helping yourself because it helps you to feel good about yourself but you are also helping yourself because we are all connected. I am not asking you to give money, especially the way the economy is now, many of us are barely getting by ourselves. I am asking you to give of your time, your talents. Use what you have to help another. What you give you will receive, but don't give with the intention of receiving.

I am asking you to experience the happiness in your life through the life of another. Through bringing happiness to someone else. You don't have to meet the other person or people all you have to know is that you have brought a little happiness to someone else.

Until next time,
Rev. Tammy

Paint Your Life

Think of your life as a blank canvas. What do you want to see on this canvas? How do you want your life to go? Now, ask the Divine for what you want (this is your paint brush), and fill your canvas with visions of what you want (this is your paint). When you have a few moments during the day revisit these visions and hold in your heart the knowledge that you will receive them, that what you want is yours.

Change Your Energy

Like attracts like, so if you are sending out positive energy you will attract positive energy, if you are sending out negative energy you will attract negative energy. "How do I know what kind of energy I am sending out?" you say. That is simple, what are your predominate thoughts? Are you mostly thinking about what is wrong in your life? Are you constantly worrying about what is or can go wrong? Do you tell yourself that you don't have enough? Thoughts are energy and by focusing on these things you are sending out negative energy, and therefore you are receiving negative energy. Now, if you are satisfied with this (I can't imagine anyone would be), then don't change anything.

However, if you would like things to start going better for you, if you would like your life to be more positive then start changing the energy that you are sending. Start changing your thoughts. To do this, be aware of what you are thinking. If a negative thought comes into your mind purposely replace it with something positive, something that makes you feel happy. I don't have____, I don't like____, I don't want____, are negative thoughts and they will attract more of the same to you.

Change your thoughts, change your energy and change your life. I am not saying this will happen over night, but it will happen.

Until next week,
Rev. Tammy

Gratitude

Let's talk about being grateful. What are you grateful for? Most people would say family, some would add friends. Are you grateful for your paycheck? Maybe not, after all you work hard for that money. Are you grateful for your possessions? Again probably not, you worked hard for the money that bought them. I am going to suggest to you that you try being grateful for all that you own. Be grateful for the good parking spot that you got. Be grateful for your job whether or not you like it. Be grateful in every aspect of your life, I mean truly grateful. As you develop gratitude for things that you normally take for granted watch and see what happens in your life, you should start noticing more things coming into your life to be grateful for.

Right now I am grateful to be able to share this message with you and grateful to you for reading it.

Until next week,
Rev. Tammy

Irritations and Aggravations

People generally feel better when they feel happy. Staying happy is not always easy to do, though. There are always things that can irritate or aggravate us. The trick is to find something in the thing that is trying to ruin your mood to turn it around.

Here is an example: I have a co-worker that is always late, she is late getting to work and she is late getting back from lunch. We are usually scheduled so that I go home when she gets back from lunch. Because she is late coming back I am always forced to work late. I have already put in an 8 hour shift and I am ready to go home at the end of my shift. I have tried sending her to lunch early but she still comes back after the time I am supposed to leave. Sending her early just makes her later getting back. Now, this is very inconsiderate on her part and very irritating to me.
I don't want this negativity in my life, I am trying to rid life of negativity. My solution was to realize that her tardiness getting back from lunch was actually working for me, because I was collecting a few more minutes on the clock which adds up and at the end of the week I receive just a little more pay.

Now, I'm not saying this is easy, and I'm not saying that it will work for every situation, but give it a try. Try to find something that will turn the irritation to your advantage. Try to find something that will make it a little less irritating. Don't let inconsiderate people steal away your happiness.

Until next week,
Rev. Tammy
